Husband’s Letter
Posted by: JesterHere’s a story I read a while back, and the writer, or shall I say, the victim, claims it to be true.
A New York businessman who had been in Florida for a week sent an e-mail to his wife who would be joining him the following day for some vacation time. Little did he know he had accidentally typed in the wrong e-mail address and had instead sent it to a woman in Texas whose husband had died three days before of a heart attack. When she read it, she was terribly shocked.
This is how it went:
Hi Honey,
How are you? I’m doing swell, but the last few days have been lonely without your company. I’ve already made reservations for you to join me tomorrow night, so I’ll see you then.
Love, your darling husband!!!
PS: It sure is hot down here!!!
